TheStory
Last Panto in Canberra, (David Tristram’s Last Panto in Little Grimley given a familiar setting) is an hilarious farce about the efforts of a bumbling amateur theatre company to reverse its fortunes.
C.A.T.S (Canberra Amateur Theatrical Society) is in real crisis. The membership has dropped to four and the audiences are shrinking year by year. What does the Society do about this? The President, Gordon, decides to write a traditional pantomime with a twist, a sex pantomime with the remainder players. They hope for a complete sell-out to get themselves out of debt. Everything goes to plan for opening night, but strangely enough a member doesn't turn up. Does the play go on???
